WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Final tune-up before the regular season kicks off this Saturday!
With Morata starting it’s going to be our first look at him in the red and black. Same with Pavlovic although he’s starting on the bench. Royal just arrived and was not called up.
One thing to note is that Pulisic is not dressed as I’m sure they’re managing his minutes so we get to see RLC as the CAM to start (ugh). Another thing to note is that Kalulu didn’t dress either, pretty much confirming that he’s likely out the door probably to Juventus. Finally, Maignan is starting and Theo is dressed but on the bench to start. I’m sure we’ll get limited minutes from him as he tends to play a lot during the season so I’ll be surprised to see him before the 60th minute.
Other than that, this is the last chance to impress for Adli and Saelemaekers, both starting, so let’s see what they can do. For those tracking/interested, Daniel Maldini is starting for Monza so it’s kinda nice having a Maldini on the pitch for this game in particular.
