WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
This will be a short writeup as I’m out of town. Still, last time these two played was way back at the end of September and Milan was still playing in the 4-3-3. Leão got on the board in the 8th minute and that ended up being the only goal of the game.
Hellas has been a thorn in Milan’s side the last few years, always putting up a tough fight. They really struggled for a good chunk of this season but have been better of late and have 8 points in the last 5 games, enough to lift them out of the relegation zone. So I fear today’s game will be a slog.
For Milan, the just beat Slavia Prague midweek and have been pretty solid in the league, overtaking Juventus for 2nd place in the table last week. Pioli has decided to tinker a bit with the lineup today, with Okafor starting as the #9 and pairing Tomori and Kalulu at CB. Not going to lie, I’m lowkey excited about this. Rest of the line is strong with the regular starters.
I think Milan wins this either 1-0 or 2-1. Here’s what Lisi thinks is going to happen: fearing something ugly. Strange lineup. Still should be enough to at least get the draw. Pulisic keeps rolling. Okafor a late goal to win it? MILAN WINS BABY!!!
Forza Milan
