A season…preview…not if you know the reference in the graphic atop of this post! (I know I probably dated myself but that’s from the Twilight Zone…I’d say look it up but there’s a link I just provided). It feels like we’re in the Twilight Zone right now with an incomplete squad, little practice time, and

As you all know, this summer has been crazy busy, both in soccer/football but also for me personally. While I haven’t been able to write much this summer, it doesn’t mean I haven’t been tracking what’s been going on and it’s been a big motivation of mine to make sure I comment more in the

The summer has been busy with the World Cup and player movement has been slow, so on that front Milan hasn’t been very busy. But one thing they have done is hire a new coach after firing Massimilano Allegri at the conclusion of the final matchday in late May, and with that Milan welcomes their

It’s been a fun and exciting tournament so far and the expansion to 48 teams and a 32-team knockout stage has mostly been met with joy and appreciation. There’s been some unevenness to it that will hopefully get ironed out (like ease of path for some teams compared to others) but overall I think it’s

I was going to add to the title, Italians Need Not Apply, like early 20th century America, but didn’t want to get dinged on the Google search, LOL. In all seriousness, Italy is missing their 3rd straight World Cup and for fans of the most iconic club team from Italy, Italians and non-Italians alike, this
Disaster. Just a complete disaster. From the management to the coaching box. No European competitions to worry about. Yes, some early season injuries but a mostly healthy squad during the second half of the season, especially the final 2-3 months. Basically what Napoli had last season (now 2 seasons ago), who rode those circumstances to
