Matchday 25: Pisa v Milan

Milan is finally back to action after the unexpected delay (although not super surprising…I mean, come on…it’s Italy) due to poor scheduling by Serie A and the Winter Olympics. Milan was effectively kicked out of their home stadium for the opening ceremony and associated festivities. BUT we’re back now and another dangerous (?) minnow is on the calendar. Can Milan take care of business?

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:

I had hoped to write a long matchday post but work came calling. Basically, we’re playing a minnow and if you want to know my concerns then just pull up any matchday post from this season where Milan is playing a minnow and it’ll give you a good idea of what I think. Judging by the lineup Allegri is choosing to field today, unless there are some injuries keeping Leão, Pulisic, and/or Füllkrug out, Allegri should probably be tried at the Hague for war crimes. JFC.

Pisa is tied for dead last and are only not last by a very slightly better goal differential than Hellas Verona. There is ZERO reason why Milan shouldn’t take home all 3 points and really should do so with ease. Although that would be a fool’s errand to be believe ease will be a word we use to describe the game when it’s over.

PREDICTION TIME:

Probably win? Could totally see a draw too because of course. Sigh…

Forza Milan
