WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Very quick write up as I will be busy today and will miss the game live and will watch later this evening. But just a few thoughts. I was looking at Inter’s record vs the small clubs and it was something like 80% of the time they scored first and like 60-70% of the time they scored in the first 20 minutes of the match. THAT’S the type of aggressiveness I want to see.
As for the lineup, I would expect a lot of rotation and not at all what FotMob has as the predicted lineup. Allegri also alluded in the Como post match that he’s thinking about a 4-man backline, so don’t be surprised to see that as well. Finally, I read that Leão has been nursing a tender groin and that’s why we haven’t seen his trademark speed. Makes sense. If at all possible, rest him completely today and give him 10 days straight of rest/light work.
PREDICTION TIME:
Inter won yesterday so need a win if we want to stay within one game of 1st place. Surprise me, Allegri…
Forza Milan
