Ok, on paper this should be easy. But it’s Serie A and minnows are known to take scalps from time to time. With Milan being first out the gates this round, they need to focus and put pressure on those chasing them at the top of the table by taking all 3 points today. So no messing around. Get it done.

***New season, so tell me if this needs to be updated***
Paramount+ and FuboTV here in the US of Aye (Spanish broadcast on Fox Deportes in the US); FuboTV and TLN for Canada; TNT in the UK (maybe?); ESPN for Mexico; DAZN for Germany, Austria, Switzerland; a website called GXR for our friends in India; and illegal streams that support dictators and oligarchs everywhere.
*Let us know if this needs updating or if you have additional broadcasters to add*
WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Milan is essentially in the same position as last game against Fiorentina, although Giménez is starting from the get-go and Nkunku is back and on the bench. So expect what we saw in the last 30 minutes of the last game from the beginning of this one.
Some things I’ll be watching for is if Allegri changes around what Modrić and Ricci are doing as I mentioned in the last post match, that is I want Ricci sitting deep as the true DM and Modrić more advanced. With Pisa allowing the second most goals in the league, along with the second worst offense, Allegri won’t be risking much in trying this and it can provide future tactical options if he likes what he sees.
One other thing I’d like to see Milan focusing on is feeding Giménez. This is the perfect game to force the issue and break him free from the goal drought he’s in. He’s been playing well, but we need him scoring as Roma and Inter await in the next month or so.
PREDICTION TIME:
Pretty straight forward. Milan wins by something like 3-0 or 3-1. Let’s get it.
Forza Milan
