Milan have won 5 straight for the first time since March 2024. That was back during the Pioli days for those of you keeping track. They won 7 total in that streak and today we’re hoping Milan can make it 6 straight as they travel to Turin/Torino to take on Juventus.
Juve is in the midst of 4 straight draws. Some things come and go but Juventus playing for draws is eternal. Let’s see if Milan can put that first one down in the loss column for them…

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Milan come into this game about as healthy as they’ve been but aside from Bartesaghi starting for a suspended Estupiñan, Allegri has elected to stick with the same formation and personnel. I can’t say I blame him, the team has been playing well. As for what that means for this game is a little bit harder to decipher.
The team’s strength is the midfield and nothing changes today. Juventus has countered with a little bit more of a defensive lineup selection, electing to stop what has been a pretty potent Milan attack. Juventus has also conceded more than they’re accustomed to, so that is probably playing a part as well. Combine this with them needing a win more than Milan, I expect Juventus to probably sit back more than they normally would playing at home.
If Milan fails to breakthrough, they have probably the best game-changer on the bench (if he’s not starting) in Serie A, namely Leão. Leão is going to play, no doubt about that, but how much will be driven by how the game goes. Get down early, I can see him coming on at the half. Tied or up, then we won’t see him until the 60th minute. Either way, I’ll be on the lookout for a slower game, although anything is possible as Juve has gotten themselves into some scoring fests.
PREDICTION TIME:
I think Milan wins 2-1 or draws 2-2. Allegri wants to beat Juve and Juve want to beat him. Should be intense. Let’s do it.
