WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Giving Allegri the benefit of the doubt that Pulisic is injured (supposedly nursing an ankle injury of some sort) and doesn’t have 90 minutes in him, this lineup and especially the formation is BAD. Where is the offense going to come from? All the more reason to run something with Modrić higher, something like a 4-2-3-1 or even a 4-3-1-2.
This is relying on Giménez to be a one-man show up front (bad), Saelemaekers/Musah/Estupiñan to be wide and creating (bad-bad), and RLC and Fofana to be the guy making runs into the box and scoring (a f**king disaster). I’m expecting NOTHING from this game. Jesus f**king Christ.
