ROMA V GENOA Roma are playing pretty good right now…but is Genoa playing better? Both teams switched coaches and have been bathing in the healing waters of the new manager bounce. Roma are scoring at will but can’t defend. Genoa are playing some great D and finding ways to score. Crazy enough if Genoa get a win here they leapfrog Roma into 10th. I’m not crazy though. It’s low scoring but I like Roma here, probably 1-0 or 2-0. That DD attack (Dovbyk and Dydala), the danger men. ROMA WINS

BOLOGNA V MONZA Only 2 teams in the top 10 won last week. Bologna wasn’t one of them. After selling so much last summer and doing little to reinforce top 7 might just be their ceiling. Nothing wrong with that. New expectations aren’t easy. Can Monza continue to Monza after surprising Fiorentina last week? Perhaps so. Bologna continues to stutter and Monza gets a result here. Crazy? Perhaps. Monza DC here should be a nice number. DRAW

ATALANTA V NAPOLI GAME OF THE WEEK! This is starting to go the way we thought. Napoli have no European commitments. Everyone else does. We all know who that favors. If Atalanta want to keep up this is a must win. Napoli know this though. They will come in and try to bar the door. Love a 0-0 halftime here and a result for Napoli. Something like a 0-0 or 1-1. Take shots for Atalanta, anyone that starts in attack really. This one flatters to deceive as a great game, might just be ugly. DRAW

FIORENTINA V TORINO Fiorentina have lost 4 of 5. They welcome Torino to town who are getting back to their old super defensive ways. Fiorentina do enough to get 1 against them but the defense definitely gives one back as well. Totally smells of a score draw here with goals after halftime. DRAW

CAGLIARI V LECCE 2 teams near the drop in serie A after the halfway point that vould both sure use a point to stave off relegation? Smells like a draw to me right? I’m not betting the result here though. No way. I would bet on goals though. BTTS and over 2.5? Yes please. Probably a Cagliari DC and over. Maybe a Cagliari 3-2 win? Maybe! Maybe not. DRAW

PARMA V VENEZIA Speaking of goals. I love this as another BTTS and over type of game. Parma always means goals. MAN IS THE MAN! Venezia will come out and play and keep up with them. You know I love me some Pohjanpolo. Parlay both to get a SOT. That’s money in the bank. Parma needs the win and gets it. PARMA WINS

HELLAS V LAZIO Lazio barely lead the race for 4th, only a few stumbles from losing that lead though. They all of a sudden can’t keep a clean sheet, which for a team living on such slim margins is a problem. Hellas aren’t great but they can score. BTTS here for sure. Smells like a 2-1 or 3-1 Lazio win. Watch the lineups. If Dia starts at striker take them to win and him to score. If he doesn’t they may struggle and sputter. Only because I love to aggravate Lazio fans I will go with the DRAW

INTER V EMPOLI I keep waiting for Inter and Lautaro to blow up. It just hasn’t been happening. I’m gonna keep calling for it though. Especially here. They have to get him firing if they want a CL run and the only way to do that is to keep running him out there. Empoli are sllipping but they haven’t fallen…YET. INTER WINS

COMO V UDINESE I don’t BELIEVE in either of these teams but I do believe in Como at home. They have still played the least amount of home games in the league despite playing 2 of 3 at home. Remember early on when I told you they had a whacky schedule? Well now they are getting those home games and they are steadying the ship. Love a DC here for them. Probably a DC and over 1.5? Yeah, I like that. Lots of shot options here on both sides as well. DRAW.Â
